Abstract

This paper explores the forms of Christian presence in a plural society, focusing on the political sphere. After outlining the nature of Christian political action as it is outlined by the Second Vatican Council, the study illustrates the connection between fundamental human rights and political action, finally it presents the political conception and practice promoted by Luigi Giussani, which allows us to discover a Christian political postura appropriate to the present time.
