Abstract

The author provides a status quaestionis regarding Parousia-related topics by analyzing manuals published in the Italian context from 2000 onwards. After evaluating the structure and content of individual manuals, several emerging themes are identified, and consideration is given to the theological domains with which eschatology should engage in a discourse on Parousia-related matters. This reveals a discipline that has assimilated the significant reforms of the 20th century and, despite appearing to have reached a point of stagnation, presents valuable interdisciplinary opportunities.
